He recorded ten new tracks for it, which together form a varied blend of electro, industrial rock, gothic rock and dark wave. Gary Numan has already given an early taste of what "Savage (Songs From A Broken World)" will sound like with the pilot single "My Name Is Ruin" and the second single "What God Intended". Content-wise, the album revolves around a post-apocalyptic world that has been turned into a desert due to global warming, where different cultures have blended into each other. The people living in this world are trying to survive by any means necessary.
