An expanded edition for the 25th anniversary of Roy Orbison's (1936-1988) last studio album, "Mystery Girl", released on February 7, 1989, although the songs were completed in 1988, shortly before his death. Roy's sons Wesley, Roy and Alex are responsible for the compilation, which was compiled in honour of their father. After his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, the stunning "A Black and White Night" concert (1988) and the "Travellin Wilburys" project, Roy was ready to hit the studio again. The result was the masterpiece "Mystery Girl", Roy's first platinum album with the hits "You Got It", "She's a Mystery to Me" and "California Blue". The expanded edition features 5 previously unreleased bonus tracks, including a new song, "The Way Is Love", based on a lost demo and now re-recorded by his children and John Carter Cash.
