Seal is back with a new album Standards!

British soul legend and Grammy winner Seal combines his unique voice with the best jazz standards and swing classics ever written on his tenth album Standards. The album breathes new life into iconic hits with Seal paying tribute to legends such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. Throughout his 30-year career, Seal has always been at the top of his game, selling over 30 million albums worldwide.

"This is the album I've always wanted to record. I grew up listening to music from the Rat Pack era, so recording these timeless tunes has been a lifelong dream of mine. It's been a real honor to work with the same artists who performed with Frank Sinatra and other favorite artists of mine, in the same studios where these wonders were first created. I've had some of the best days of my recording career," says Seal of the circumstances surrounding the making of the record

Seal's new album brings the glamour of old Hollywood into the present. His velvety warm vocals bring to life immortal classics like Frank Sinatra's I've Got You Under My Skin, Ella Fitzgerald's I'm Beginning to See The Light and Nina Simone's I Put A Spell on You. The recording sessions involved Randy Waldman, the pianist who has performed with Sinatra and Paul Anka, Chuck Berghofer, the bassist who has played with Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Charles, and last but not least Greg Fields, the drummer who has accompanied Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder.
