The groundbreaking reissue of Tina Turner's "Foreign Affair" was one of the greatest albums of the 1980s and showed Tina Turner at her best, further cementing her position as the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. The deluxe version of the album will be released on July 16 and will be accompanied by vinyl and CD versions. The limited edition deluxe box set features the original album, completely remastered for the first time, on CD 1. CD 2 contains a collection of B-sides, remixes and a previously unheard demo of Tina Turner's classic "The Best". CD 3 and CD 4 contain the legendary concert Tina Turner played in Barcelona in 1990. In a riveting performance, Turner performed some of her most popular songs, including "What's Love Got To Do With It", "Proud Mary", "Private Dancer" and many more. The electrifying performance can also be seen on the DVD, which features six video clips of the album's official singles, fully restored in HD quality. And that's not all fans can look forward to. In addition to the great music, the deluxe edition includes a special commemorative passport featuring many of Turner's iconic photographs, as well as a high quality art card featuring photographs by photographer Paul Cox. Also included is a booklet with new liner notes by Holly Knight, author of "The Best", "Be Tender With Me Baby", "You Can't Stop Me Loving You" and "Ask Me How I Feel". The album will be available as a black double LP and also as a double CD containing the remastered original album, a collection of B-sides, remixes and an unreleased demo of "The Best". "Foreign Affair" was Turner's third studio album since her sensational worldwide resurgence following the huge success of "Private Dancer" (1984), "Break Every Rule" (1986) and her starring role in the 1985 film "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome". The album achieved multi-platinum status worldwide, including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and Australia. The album's biggest hit was the 80s anthem "The Best". It still enjoys cult status today and has one of the most famous choruses in music history. In addition to "The Best", the album contains other Turner favorites such as "Steamy Windows", "Don't Wanna Lose You" and the title track "Foreign Affair".
