"Pride" is the second studio album by the American-Danish rock band White Lion, released in 1987. The album featured two hit singles, "Wait" and "When Children Cry", which reached the Top 10. The first single "Wait" first hit the airwaves when MTV played the music video seven months after its initial release, catapulting it to number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. More than a year after the album's release, the equally successful second single "Tell Me" was released, followed by the gentle acoustic ballad "When The Children Cry," which reached number three on the chart. "Pride" thus became one of only 20(!) hard rock albums to have multiple Top 10 hits. After the success of the singles, the album itself reached #11 on the album chart.
