Audioquest Victoria JJ 3,5 - 3,5 jack

Victoria is a premium audio cable 1 x 3.5 mm jack (male) to 1 x 3.5 mm jack (male). Solid core copper conductors with a perfect surface finish(PSC+) were chosen for production. This material has an unprecedentedly fine and clean surface which protects Audioquest's proprietary technology at all stages of production. This high-purity, oxygen-free copper, soft, clean and smooth, thus becomes an excellent low-loss PSC+ conductor during the process. The resulting sound is then much truer and cleaner, i.e. better than if conventional materials had been used to make the cable. Audioquest has been making advances in the use of select materials for 30 years, and yet the leap in quality that PSC technology has made possible has been astoundingPSC+ technology offers incomparably better results compared to commercially available copper (at any price point).

TECHNOLOGY

All Victoria cable conductors have a solid core. The electrical-magnetic interactions between the fibers are the biggest source of distortion in conventional cables, resulting in an impure, harsh sound. Solid conductors are thus essential on the road to achieving perfectly clear sound.

Hollow polyethylene insulation: any solid material that is near the conductor actually becomes part of the imperfect circuit. Cable insulation and circuit boards absorb energy and cause losses, some of this energy is stored and then released in the form of distortion. Victoria uses air-filled hollow polyethylene insulation to insulate all the wires because air absorbs almost no energy and polyethylene is low loss. The result is a noticeably less distorted sound than if conventional materials were used.

A three-layer (carbon) system to dissipate external influences (NDS): Perfectly shields the interference transmitted to the ground of the instruments and thus prevents unwanted sound interference.

Double-balanced asymmetrical geometry: specifically designed for single-ended applications, the double-balanced asymmetrical geometry provides relatively lower impedance for richer and more dynamic listening. While many single ended cables use a single path for both grounding and shielding, the double-balanced design separates the two paths for better performance.

Dielectric-Bias System (DBS): is an active dielectric polarization system. Insulation slows the signal inside the conductor, the DBS system creates a strong electrostatic field that "saturates" and polarizes (organizes) the insulation molecules. This minimizes energy storage in the insulation and eliminates the numerous nonlinear delays that occur. The sound has a surprisingly clear background, details stand out, and dynamic contrast is also enhanced. The batteries last for years, and the test button and built-in LED allow for occasional checking.

Directly silver-plated cold-welded RCA terminals made of red copper: this solution does not involve solder, which is often a source of considerable distortion. Because the connector bodies are molded, not machined, a metal that minimally affects the signal (rather than a metal that is easily machined) can be selected for fabrication. The use of high quality red copper then enhances the clarity of the sound even further, and direct silver plating is another step on the path to perfectly clear sound.
