Damon & Naomi are an American indie rock duo formed in the early 1990s by Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang, both former members of the band Galaxie 500. After the breakup of Galaxie 500, the pair began collaborating as a duo, exploring a more subdued and folk-influenced style compared to their previous work. They have released several albums over the years, often characterized by their ethereal vocals, delicate instrumentation, and introspective lyrics. In addition to their musical endeavors, Damon & Naomi are also known for their literary and artistic pursuits; Krukowski is a published poet and writer, while Yang is a visual artist and graphic designer. Their collaboration with the Japanese psychedelic rock band Ghost on the album "Damon & Naomi with Ghost" in 2000 showcased a blend of both groups' distinctive sounds and received critical acclaim. Damon & Naomi have maintained a dedicated following over the years and continue to contribute to the indie music scene with their unique artistic vision.
