Easy Star All-Stars is a reggae collective known for their innovative and genre-crossing cover albums. Formed in 1997, the group is based in New York City and operates under the Easy Star Records label, which was founded by Michael Goldwasser, Eric Smith, Lem Oppenheimer, and Remy Gerstein. The collective gained widespread recognition with their 2003 release "Dub Side of the Moon," a complete reggae re-imagining of Pink Floyd's classic album "The Dark Side of the Moon." Their success continued with "Radiodread" in 2006, a song-by-song makeover of Radiohead's "OK Computer," and "Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band" in 2009, which took on The Beatles' iconic "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
