Employed To Serve is a British hardcore punk band known for their intense sound and energetic live performances. Formed in 2012, the group initially started as a two-piece project by Justine Jones and Sammy Urwin before expanding into a full band. They quickly made a name for themselves within the UK's hardcore scene with their aggressive blend of metalcore and post-hardcore elements. Employed To Serve released their debut album "Greyer Than You Remember" in 2015, which was followed by "The Warmth Of A Dying Sun" in 2017. The latter received critical acclaim and won the Kerrang! Award for Best Album, solidifying their status as a significant force in the genre. Continuing to build on their momentum, they released "Eternal Forward Motion" in 2019 and "Conquering" in 2021, further showcasing their evolution in sound and lyrical depth.
