German A Cappella Quintet

Ensemble Nobiles is a vocal quintet formed in 2008 by former members of the St. Thomas Boys Choir in Leipzig, Germany. The group consists of five male vocalists who specialize in a cappella performances, covering a repertoire that spans from the Renaissance to contemporary music. They are known for their pure and homogeneous sound, which is a result of their shared choral background and extensive training. The ensemble has gained recognition for their interpretations of classical works and has performed at various concerts and festivals across Europe, building a reputation for their artistry in both sacred and secular music. While they have produced several albums, including those featuring the works of Hugo Distler and pieces by Dvořák, Grieg, and Sibelius, they are also noted for their commitment to German folk songs as evidenced by their album "Vollxlied Made In Germany."
