Greg Reeves

American Bassist and Former Member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

Greg Reeves is a bassist best known for his work with the folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY). He was brought into the band by producer and bassist Motown legend Rick James to play on their 1970 album "Déjà Vu." Reeves was a teenager at the time and his contribution to the album helped solidify its success, as "Déjà Vu" became one of the iconic records of the era. Despite his young age, Reeves' musicianship was well-respected, and he played alongside Stephen Stills, David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Neil Young during a pivotal time in their collective career. However, his tenure with CSNY was relatively short-lived and he did not continue with them on subsequent projects. His later career is not as well-documented in the public domain as his time with CSNY.
