Interpol

New York post-punk revival band

Interpol is an American rock band formed in 1997 in New York City. The group consists of Paul Banks (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Daniel Kessler (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Sam Fogarino (drums, percussion), with former member Carlos Dengler (bass guitar, keyboards) having left the band in 2010. They are one of the bands associated with the post-punk revival of the 2000s, and they achieved critical and commercial success with their debut album "Turn On The Bright Lights" in 2002. The album was widely acclaimed and is considered a landmark record of the early 21st century indie rock scene.
