Funk and Disco Ensemble of the Late 70s and Early 80s

Kleeer was an American funk band that emerged in the late 1970s and continued to be active throughout the 1980s. The group was known for their blend of funk, disco, and R&B sounds. They were originally formed under the name Pipeline in the early 1970s, but they later changed their name to The Universal Robot Band and then to Kleeer in the late 1970s. Kleeer gained popularity with hits such as "Keep Your Body Workin'" and "Get Tough," and they released several albums under the Atlantic Records label.
