Garage Rock Revivalists

The Black Lips are an American garage rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999. The group is known for their raw sound and energetic live performances, which often include wild antics and a rebellious attitude. The band's lineup has seen changes over the years, but founding members Jared Swilley (bass/vocals) and Cole Alexander (guitar/vocals) have remained constants. They gained recognition with their self-titled debut album in 2003 and continued to build their reputation with subsequent releases. The Black Lips have produced several albums throughout their career, including "Good Bad Not Evil" (2007), which is often cited as one of their most acclaimed works. They followed up with "200 Million Thousand" in 2009 and "Underneath The Rainbow" in 2014, further cementing their status in the garage rock scene.
