Fromm – drums All the members of The Great Waste of Time have some connection to the small Swedish town of Gävle, but none of them live there. They met in Frankfurt while studying at the Frankfurt School of Applied Biomechanics and Social Engineering in the late 1980s. They did not graduate, and after being expelled they drifted apart to explore various dead ends. Several years of pointless research into poverty, drinking, work, unemployment, recreational drug use, fishing, parenting, art, and literature followed. They all somehow ended up in Stockholm in the late 1990s, where they encountered more boredom, desperation and despair. More years came and went and together these middle aged men have almost 200 years of punk experience in more or less well known bands such as Olga Benbrott, Dross (2), Ashram (3), In Ruins Of, Tender Souvenirs, Trapdoor Fucking Exit, Shitstorm and The Monkeys of Porneo.
