Cows

Cows were an American noise rock band that formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1987. The band was known for their aggressive style of music and chaotic live performances. They were a part of the noise rock scene that included other bands like The Jesus Lizard and Helmet. Cows' lineup frequently changed throughout their career, with the only constant member being vocalist Shannon Selberg. The band released several albums during their active years, including "Cunning Stunts" in 1992, "Orphan's Tragedy" in 1994, and "Sorry In Pig Minor" in 1998, which would be their final studio album before disbanding. Cows' music was characterized by dissonant guitar riffs, abrasive vocals, and unconventional song structures, which earned them a cult following despite never achieving mainstream success.
