Ten years earlier, in 2000, the album "Silence Is Sexy" was released, which almost completely renounced atonal noise attacks. Instead - not only in the opener "Sabrina" - actually quite conventional song structures and melodies prevail, making do with a few catchy sounds. Drummer FM Einheit was absent for the first time and Blixa Bargeld had previously played with Nick Cave for some time, which probably also contributed to the digestibility of "Silence Is Sexy", a melancholic pop album of the first order with sharp edges.
