When pre-ordered immediately, Evolve's "Believer" was No. 1 on Alternative Radio for six consecutive weeks, breaking a 13-year record for most plays in its format. It surpassed Linkin Park with "Faint" in 2003. TIME called "Believer" "another perfect anthem," while Entertainment Weekly praised the "pounding drums, a tremendous chorus and a devilish bassline that digs into your gut." Billboard called "Believer" " a proper anthem that will turn wavering optimists into devout believers. "The band was formed in 2009 by Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben M Kee (bass) and Daniel Platzman (drums). After a series of several EPs, Imagine Dragons have gained a fan base.
