American rapper Jay-Z and his equally famous colleague Kanye West have teamed up for a new project. They formed a band together and recorded a joint album called "Watch The Throne". Jay-Z and Kanye West recorded this work for more than a year in different places around the globe, so the songs were recorded in London, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Paris and New York. The Neptunes, Kanye West's longtime collaborator Mike Dean and RZA were among the producers. This in many ways unique album will be supported at radio by the current single "Otis", which features the soul great's vocals sampled from the track "Try A Little Tenderness". It features guest appearances by Beyoncé, Mr. Hudson and Frank Ocean. In total, the album will contain twelve songs, with four more for fans of the deluxe versions. The cover artwork and the booklet are also interesting. This was done for The Throne by the renowned designer Ricardo Tisci, who regularly designs fashion collections for Givenchy.The album was released digitally on itunes a week earlier and became number 1 in every country in the world where itunes is available, 23 countries. No one has ever done that before!!
