Finally, LCD Soundsystem's new material is living the American dream, at least if you believe the title of their new fourth studio album: 'American Dream' is the follow-up to 'This Is Happening', which took them into the Top 10 in the UK and US seven years ago. In 2017, however, the New York combo is finally picking up where they left off with their 2011 breakup: electronica, alternative dance music, synth rock - somewhere in between, LCD Soundsystem have found their signature sound. Exactly what producer and multi-instrumentalist James Murphy and his fellow musicians sound like now, they revealed back in May with the singles "Call The Police" and title track "American Dream" and in August with "Tonite." After the reunion, new material is finally coming from LCD Soundsystem. "American Dream" is the big comeback album.
