Orville Peck combines a shoegaze vibe with the melodies and vocal skills of classic American country music to sing about love and loss from the wastelands of North America. Orville's debut album, Pony, delivers a diverse collection of stories that tell of heartbreak, revenge and the relentless tug-of-war for the cowboy ethos. Warm lap steel guitars and echoing drums are interspersed with dreamy ballads and sometimes frantic melodies - all paying homage to his country roots.
