Dua Lipa is devoted to disco-pop Three years have passed since the release of Dua Lipa's debut album, which climbed to number three in the UK chart. 2020 will see the eagerly awaited follow-up: Here's Nostalgia of the Future. The British singer-songwriter recorded eleven tracks for it. With two singles, "Don't Start Now" and "Physical" already out. And they are visible: from the "dark pop" of the previous album, "Future Nostalgia" now moves more towards disco pop. The album title seems to be the program. In her own words, it was inspired by artists like Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Moloko, Blondie and Outkast. The result is an album that is nothing like her strong first album. On the contrary: 'Future Nostalgia' is catchy, hit-making, danceable and shows the next exciting evolution of Dua Lipa.
